Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. This position requires a proactive and organized professional with a deep understanding of the translation and interpreting industry.

Key Responsebilities

Project Management:

  • Lead end-to-end project management, including scoping, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, timelines, and expectations.
    Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to ensure successful project completion.

Client Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Communicate project status, timelines, and any relevant issues to clients in a clear and professional manner.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the accuracy of translations.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of deliverables to uphold BURG’s commitment to excellence.

Technology Utilization:

  • Utilize translation management systems and other relevant tools to streamline project workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in language technology to recommend improvements to existing processes.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the language services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of translation and interpreting processes and best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and MSFT Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle the pressure of times where the work volume may be high.
  • Proficiency in relevant project management and translation software.

Additional Information

  • This is a remote position that can be located anywhere, but you must be available to work 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. US CST hours.
