ISO 17100:2015
ISO 17100:2015 builds on the generic requirements of ISO 9001:2015. It focuses on processes that are specific to translation service providers (TSPs). For example, it defines personnel such as translators, revisers, reviewers, proofreaders and project managers, as well as technical resources. The translation steps it covers include translation, as well as document translation checks, revisions made by a second translator, reviews to determine that the deliverable meets the intent, proofreading and final verification.
