Which Immigration Certificates are translated at BURG
Russian is the native language most spoken in Europe, with more than 144 million native speakers. It is the 8th most spoken language in the world. Certain terms in Russian are constantly used such that they are not considered as “terms” anymore. Some of the terms include account (счет), download (загружать), etc. The terminology constantly evolves as new socio-economic concepts emerge. BURG translates all types of Russian immigration documents, such as educational certificates, birth certificates, marriage certificates, high school diplomas, university diplomas, university class content and scoring systems, graduation thesis, dissertations, and scientific publications.
BURG also translates special papers related to our clients’ specific situations, such as refugees and political asylum seekers, newspaper clips, police and local authorities’ reports referring to political involvements, acts of war, and natural catastrophes. Additional document translation services include religious records like baptismal certificates, medical documentation, mental health information, documentation that is relevant to public health issues, vaccination records, and reports referring to special physical conditions, medical history, physical requirements, limitations, and special needs.

Time and Cost of Certified Russian Translation
Typically a set of Russian immigration documents can be translated in a few days. This depends on various factors including the number and length of documents, general condition of the documents, including deterioration and legibility, handwritten notations, and any other issues that could facilitate or delay the process. Prices start at $90 per document and can vary according to length, time requirements, and languages involved.
CONFIDENTIALITY
In accordance with our ISO and EN Certifications, all Russian translators and editors are bound by a Confidentiality and Non-Compete Agreement that ensures that any document processed by BURG will not be shared nor disclosed to any third party not related to the translation process at any time and under no circumstance. In addition, we are HIPAA compliant. Any Protected Health Information (PHI) you upload to us is protected from the moment you upload, until we securely send you your translations.
FAST TURNAROUND
BURG provides certified Russian translation of thousands of immigration documents every year. Turnaround times depend on the number of documents that need translation and the size of each document. BURG’s team of Project Managers assess our clients’ files and determine how quickly the translation can be completed. Some turnaround times can be as fast as approximately 2 to 3 business days. Special arrangements can be made for exceptional circumstances, and project schedules can be expedited.
QUALITY OF CERTIFIED TRANSLATIONS
The translation of Russian certificates is not compatible with computerized machine translation for several reasons. Often, these documents are presented to the Russian translation provider in hard copy or scanned formats, which may include handwritten notations, acronyms, and illegible sections. There may also be some degree of deterioration, missing sections, etc. The Russian translator and editor ensure that nothing has been omitted in the translation, the rendering is absolutely accurate, names are spelled correctly, and that dates and numbers have been transcribed correctly in the correct formats. Both the Russian translator and the Russian editor are fully aware of the implications and possible consequences of a job that is not up to the required level of quality.
CERTIFIED RUSSIAN TRANSLATION PROGRESS
Our clients are able to track the progress of their Russian translation and work directly with our Project Managers to resolve questions and clarify any issues to ensure the accurate and timely conclusion of the project. Additional copies of certified translations can be issued upon request. BURG keeps immigration-related certified translations on file indefinitely in case our clients needs additional copies at a later time.
